Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Seasonal travel position for Medical Surgical Orthopedic unit • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • 20-bed orthopedic unit located on 9th floor South • 1:5 nursing ratio with 1 charge nurse and 4 staff nurses per shift • Must be able to work independently taking 5 patients • Experience on surgical unit required • Pain management experience preferred • Orthopedic experience preferred • Perform typical procedures including dressing changes and aspiration • Work with diverse patient population including elective orthopedic and trauma patients • Use Meditech EMR system • Must demonstrate positive attitude and team player mentality • 2-3 positions available Facility: This healthcare facility features a dedicated orthopedic medical surgical unit known for great teamwork and a committed nursing team focused on delivering exceptional patient experiences and quality outcomes.
