We are seeking a LPN Nurse Leader to partner with our Executive Director in overseeing the daily operations of our Assisted Living department. In this role, you will blend clinical expertise with a strong commitment to wellness, dignity, and quality of life for each resident we serve. What You’ll Do - Lead with compassion and purpose as the nursing leader on staff, ensuring residents receive the right level of care tailored to their needs. - Complete and update annual and change-of-condition assessments. - Coordinate care: physician orders, appointments, labs, prescriptions, and ancillary services. - Build strong relationships with residents and families by hosting care conferences and providing ongoing support. - Support and guide your team: from interviewing and training to scheduling and performance management, ensuring coverage that supports both residents and staff well-being. - Champion wellness by weaving health programs into daily life and programming. - Collaborate with leadership to address challenges, celebrate successes, and continually improve the resident experience. Qualifications Basic Qualifications & Experience - Licensed Practical Nurse licensure required, in good standing, in the state of employment. - 1-year experience in a supervisory capacity. - Experienced with electronic medical database experience required. - 1 year experience in an Assisted Living setting. - Must be able to read, write and speak the English language. - Must possess excellent customer service skills Working Conditions / Physical Requirements - Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently. - Possible exposure to chemicals, blood borne pathogens and other communicable diseases - Sits, stands, bends and moves intermittently during working hours. - Is subject to frequent interruptions. - Interacts with residents, family members, visitors frequently.
