Overview This role involves providing direct patient care across
all facets of respiratory therapy, following the directives of
physicians. You will collaborate with doctors to assess the
effectiveness of treatments and serve as a knowledgeable resource
for both medical staff and nursing teams regarding respiratory
care. Additional responsibilities will be assigned as needed.
Position Details: Qualifications Education: Completion of a
Respiratory Care program accredited by CoArc. Licensure: Must
fulfill state licensing criteria and possess a valid Respiratory
Care Practitioner (RCP) license. Experience: No prior experience
required. Certifications: Must hold the Registered Respiratory
Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory
Care (NBRC). For those working in the Emergency Room, PALS
certification is necessary. Physical Demands: Responsibilities
include pushing, pulling, and gripping weights up to 50 lbs,
pinching up to 10 lbs, and minimal kneeling, crouching, and
crawling. Equipment Used: All relevant respiratory care apparatus.
Preferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
certification. Preferred Licensure: Additional licensure may be
beneficial. Preferred Experience: Experience in critical care is
