seeking a local contract nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care
for a local contract nursing job in Denver, Colorado. Job
Description & Requirements - Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive
Care - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week -
Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract - Number
of Beds - 6 - Number of Staff – 15 - Type of staff: - Night Shift –
Core staffing of 2 NICU RNs and 1 NNP on site 24/7. Neonatologist
on call 24/7 - Patient Ratios – 3:1 for feeder growers. Vented
babies 1:1. - Type of equipment – Giraffe Omnibeds, STAR GE
resuscitation for transport, Giraffe with Shuttle transport, - EMR
– CPN and Meditech - Typical Procedures: - Assisting NNP with
umbilical line placement, intubation assist, LP assist,
circumcision - No surgical procedures - An ASN degree minimum/n- A
recent 12 months of NICU RN experience in an acute inpatient
hospital setting/n- Admissions and initial stabilization experience
in the delivery room/n- Level II NICU Experience/n- CO RN
License/n- BLS and NRP (AAP advanced 9th edition)
Certification/n/nPreferred or Nice to Have:/n- MediTech
Experience/n- Level III and IV NICU Experience/n- Experience with
Eat Sleep Console for babies with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome/n-
Travel Experience
