Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Denver, CO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,336 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: RN - L&D Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: ACLS, NRP, Intermediate FM Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. ACLS NRP Intermediate FM Ability to circulate in OR Description: This position requires working on a Labor and Delivery unit. The unit has 12 beds for Labor and Delivery, 8 beds for triage, and 11 for antepartum care. There are 72 staff members on this unit. Day shift typically includes 1 charge nurse, 12 RNs, 1-2 techs, and 1 secretary. Night shift includes 1 charge nurse, 11 RNs, and 1 tech. Patient ratios are 1:2 for Labor and Delivery, 1:3-4 for triage, and 1:4 for antepartum care. The unit utilizes Centricity and GE monitors for equipment. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Typical procedures performed on this unit include vaginal and cesarean deliveries, dilation and curettage (D&C), hysterectomies, postpartum tubal ligations, cerclage placements, and versions. The unit manages high-risk obstetric patients. Ideal candidates should be team players and flexible.
