Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Denver, Colorado. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/19/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - PCU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM /n• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position on 10th floor with 20-bed capacity /n• Maintain 1:4 patient ratio /n• Work with high-acuity cardiac patients in a fast-paced environment /n• Required certifications: ACLS /n• PCU experience and cardiac experience required /n• Must be competent with drips including heparin, tikosyn, diltiazem, amiodarone, nitro, Lasix, and ketamine /n• Work with equipment including telemetry, transport monitors, suction, feeding pumps, trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, heated high flow, chest tubes, Foleys, pacer wires/pacers, IV pumps, and SCD pumps /n• Perform procedures such as chest tube placement and removal, pacer wire removal, and 12-lead EKGs /n• Use Meditech EMR system /n• Work alongside RNs and PCTs in collaborative team environment /n• Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge RN, 5 nurses, and 2 PCTs /n• Must demonstrate high energy and excellent team-player qualities /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates as a designated cardiac center of excellence, specializing in high-acuity cardiovascular care.
