provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM,
12-hour shifts on a blood cancer unit with 18 beds Highlights: -
Work on an award-winning unit recognized for excellence in quality
measures, evidence-based practice, and patient outcomes - Patient
ratio of 3-4:1 with a primary nursing model emphasizing RN-driven
interventions - Specialized oncology experience with hematology
patients, including lumbar punctures, bone marrow biopsies, and
thoracentesis procedures - EMR: Meditech; Equipment includes
telemetry, bladder scanners, Alaris pumps and PCA systems -
Collaborative team environment with experienced, dedicated oncology
nursing staff - Opportunity to work with complex patient
populations requiring extensive medication administration, blood
products, and electrolyte replacement therapy Requirements: -
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state eligibility -
Compassionate approach to oncology patient care and chronically ill
populations - Quick learner able to adapt to acute hematology
patients and standing orders protocols - Preferred: Chemo and
biotherapy certification - Preferred: Step-down or progressive care
experience - Travel nursing experience strongly preferred Why It's
