Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/12/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - Orthopedics /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM /n• Seasonal travel assignment /n• Care for 5 patients independently (1:5 nursing ratio) /n• Work on 20-bed orthopedic unit on the 9th floor /n• Must have surgical unit experience /n• Experience with independent patient care required /n• Orthopedic and pain management experience preferred /n• Perform dressing changes and aspirations /n• Use Meditech EMR system /n• Work alongside dedicated nursing team including 1 charge nurse and 4 nurses per shift /n• Care for diverse patient population including elective orthopedic and ortho trauma patients /n• Positive attitude and team player personality essential /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility features a specialized 20-bed orthopedic unit known for exceptional teamwork and dedication to patient care.
