Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/19/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit – Colorado Start Date: January 19, 2026 Location: Englewood, Colorado Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio Highlights: - 20-bed Progressive Care Unit specializing in high-acuity cardiac care at a designated cardiac center of excellence - Advanced monitoring and life support equipment including telemetry, BiPAP, CPAP, heated high flow oxygen, chest tubes, and pacemaker management - Titrate critical drips including heparin, tikosyn, diltiazem, amiodarone, nitroglycerin, Lasix, and ketamine - Collaborative team environment with experienced RN and PCT colleagues on every shift - EMR system: Meditech - Fast-paced, challenging unit offering excellent professional growth opportunities Requirements: - Active RN license in Colorado or compact state eligibility - Current ACLS certification required - Progressive Care Unit or cardiac care experience required - Demonstrated competency with critical cardiac drips and hemodynamic monitoring - Experience with chest tube management, pacemaker care, and 12-lead EKG interpretation preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a high-energy team at a recognized cardiac center of excellence where you'll care for complex cardiac patients using advanced technology and evidence-based protocols.
