Description Location: UCHealth Pikes Peak Reg Hospital, US:CO:Woodland Park Department: OR Surgical Tech FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $44.00 per hour plus travel package/stipend LOCAL Traveler contract options available for those who reside within 75 miles 13 week assignments available - extension options Minimum Requirements: - High School Diploma or GED - Graduated from Surgical Technologist program - State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration - 1 year experience - BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. At UCHealth, We Improve Lives Responsibilities: - Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies. - Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments. Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients. - Passes instruments to physician during surgery. Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery. - Receives and processes specimens for delivery to the laboratory. We improve lives.
