This travel nursing position is focused on Bone Marrow Transplant
oncology. The unit includes 37 beds with a staff of 82 nurses and 7
patient care technicians. During day shifts, there is 1 charge
nurse, 15-16 nurses, and 3 patient care technicians. Night shifts
have 1 charge nurse and 15-16 nurses. Patient ratios are 3:1. The
equipment used includes Alaris pumps and the electronic medical
record system, Meditech. Candidates must have BMT ICU experience to
be considered for the role. A positive attitude and teamwork are
important traits for this position. The unit has a strong culture
of teamwork, positivity, and a passion for helping patients. It is
one of the largest Blood and Marrow Transplant centers in the
