Registered Nurse (RN) | Correctional Location: Denver, CO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,009 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Correctional RN in Denver, Colorado, 80239! Shift: 12x3 (TBD) Position Summary: The Correctional Health RN provides comprehensive nursing care to incarcerated individuals within a secure facility. This role includes conducting assessments, administering treatments, managing chronic and acute medical conditions, and responding to medical emergencies. The RN ensures adherence to security protocols while delivering safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care. Key Responsibilities: Perform initial and ongoing nursing assessments of inmates, including physical exams, medical history review, and vital signs monitoring. Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and facility protocols. Triage sick call requests and determine the appropriate level of care. Provide care for chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, mental health disorders, and substance use issues. Qualifications: Active RN license (state-specific).
