Job Description Job Description Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1 year of Cath Lab experience. An opportunity is available for a skilled Cath Lab Technologist in Denver, CO, offering a contract position suited for professionals eager to apply and expand their expertise in cardiovascular invasive technology. This role plays a vital part in supporting cardiac catheterization procedures and requires a high level of technical proficiency and adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Registered ARRT certification is required, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (RCIS) certification within 18 months of hire. Registered Respiratory Therapist with cardiovascular-specific certification, RCIS, or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) credentials are also acceptable. Mandatory Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association. Fluoroscopy certification is required. Candidates must be able to provide their own radiation badges, supplied by the vendor. Responsibilities: Assist cardiologists during catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal imaging quality. Operate fluoroscopy and other diagnostic equipment following strict radiation safety protocols. Prepare and maintain the cath lab equipment, handling any technical issues promptly. Monitor and document patient data and procedure specifics accurately. Collaborate with the cardiac care team to deliver exceptional patient care throughout the procedure.
