An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in step-down or progressive care settings to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic hospital environment. Responsibilities: - Deliver nursing care to patients on progressive care and telemetry floors, including a large cardiac population. - Monitor and assess patient condition using telemetric equipment and Meditech EMR systems. - Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans. - Float across medical, telemetry, and rehabilitation units as needed, displaying flexibility. - Apply BLS and ACLS protocols effectively; additional certifications such as chemo certification are a plus. - Maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach while supporting a cooperative and family-like team environment. Qualifications/Desired Experience: - Current RN license with a minimum of two years experience in telemetry and progressive care units. - BLS and ACLS certification required. - Strong telemetry experience preferred. - Chemo certification is advantageous but not mandatory. - Demonstrated ability to adapt to multiple units and patient care needs. - Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
