Floor: 2 Building: Main Hospital General Information Tell us about
the unit(s): Number of Beds -10 beds pre-op, 10 beds PACU Number of
Staff 17 staff for both departments Type of staff: Day Shift Shifts
are staggered- preop starts at 5:30 am and last staff comes in at
2pm. Unit staffed until 9:30 pm Night Shift call shifts only. Call
is required. Patient Ratios 2:1 Type of equipment Phillips monitors
EMR -Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for:
(Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without
these skills will not be considered for the role. BLS, ACLS
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be
considered first. Meditech experience List typical procedures
performed on unit(s): Large variety of surgical cases, with a large
volume of complex surgeries. ICU cases go directly to ICU unless it

feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. Staff are
expected to float between both units and to take call. We have one
nurse in a call only position M-TH nights to reduce night shift
