Position Details: Location: Our Hospital in St. Louis and Surrounding Areas Department: GIG Status: PRN/Per Diem/Flexible/Float Shift: Multiple Shifts Available JoinOurNursingTeam Incentives: $40/hour plus Variable Shift Incentive W-2 Employee Status Minimum of 12 hours required every 90 days Maximum of 30 hours per week (Sunday to Saturday) Shifts available in 4, 8, or 12-hour formats Variable Shift Incentives offered Work on your terms! Position Overview: Are you looking for a flexible Registered Nurse role with incentives? You can choose between day or night shifts based on your preference! There are no mandatory weekend, holiday, or shift commitments. Participation in the Gig Nursing Program requires you to schedule a minimum number of hours, be available on short notice, and remain flexible, as shifts may be canceled last minute. Please note that this program does not guarantee specific shift hours and will be prioritized for cancellations. Departments Seeking GIG RNs: Behavioral Health (BH) Emergency Department (ED) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Medical-Surgical (MS) Women’s Health (L&D, NICU, M&B) Facilities/Locations: Our St. Louis Facility - St. Louis, MO Our Jefferson Facility - Festus, MO Our South Facility - South St. Louis County, MO Our Washington Facility - Washington, MO Our Lincoln Facility - Troy, MO Our Perry Facility - Perryville, MO Our Southeast Facility - Cape Girardeau, MO Our Stoddard Facility - Dexter, MO Qualifications: Required Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited registered nursing program. Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Licensure: You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the state of hire or compact licensure where nursing duties are performed, adhering to all state board of nursing requirements. Experience: A minimum of one year of recent bedside RN experience is required for Medical-Surgical roles. For other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.), at least two years of recent specialty-specific bedside RN experience is necessary. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Epic software is advantageous. Certifications: For Medical-Surgical, Behavioral Health, and Women’s Health: Basic Life Support (BLS) For Critical Care: BLS and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) For Emergency Department: BLS, ACLS, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Additional certifications may be required post-hire. Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds. Prolonged standing and walking are required during each shift.
