Description Occupational Therapist Fellow, Hand Therapy
Location: UCHealth Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion, US:CO: Aurora
Department: OT OP AOP FTE: Full Time, 0.8, 32.00 hours per pay
period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $38.72 - $58.08 / hour. Pay is
dependent on applicant's relevant experience Applicants will be
required to submit a cover letter, current résumé/curriculum vitae,
and a letter of recommendation from a field work educator. patients
and plans. Implements an effective occupational therapy program
based on assessment and psychological sensitivity. Maintains
professional expertise and assumes responsibility for professional
growth. Completes residency requirements. Responsibilities:
Performs occupational therapy care for the residency-specific
patient population. Communicates findings and treatment, including
patients, families, care managers, providers, compliance, and payer
sources. Completes required residency mentorship hours and
assignments with supervising clinician(s). Completes written and
live residency testing requirements, didactic learning sessions,
classes, lab work, clinical observation and education requirements.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive
judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be
able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate
action. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- CO State licensure as an Occupational Therapist. - Basic Life
Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. BLS through the American Heart
Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional
Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must
be good through sixty days of hire. Preferred: - Master's or
Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. - 1 year of clinical experience
as a clinician. - Experience as a level II student in hand therapy.
