Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Denver, CO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,741 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Denver, Colorado, 80218! Job Title: Travel RN - PCU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Med/Surg/Telemetry experience Experience caring for patients with Heparin gtts and PCAs Description: This position is for a Travel RN in the Progressive Care Unit. The unit has a bed capacity of 34 and employs around 50 staff members. The typical patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:3-4. Night shift staff typically includes 1 charge RN and PCTs, varying based on patient census. The equipment used on the unit includes bladder scanners, mobilabs for lab draws, EKG machines, AccuVein, virtual sitter cameras, W.O.Ws, Hoyer lifts, Sara Stedy lifts, and sit-to-stand lifts. Electronic medical records are maintained using Meditech. Candidates should be adaptable, reliable, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Experience in stepdown or PCU and solid organ transplant care is preferred.
