Heparin gtts and PCAs Description: This position is for a Travel RN
in the Progressive Care Unit. The unit has a bed capacity of 34 and
employs around 50 staff members. The typical patient-to-nurse ratio
is 1:3-4. Night shift staff typically includes 1 charge RN and
PCTs, varying based on patient census. The equipment used on the
unit includes bladder scanners, mobilabs for lab draws, EKG
machines, AccuVein, virtual sitter cameras, W.O.Ws, Hoyer lifts,
Sara Stedy lifts, and sit-to-stand lifts. Electronic medical
records are maintained using Meditech. Candidates should be
adaptable, reliable, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced
environment. Experience in stepdown or PCU and solid organ
transplant care is preferred. The role includes wound and drain
care, such as wound vacs, chest tubes, and JP drains. 5 Benefits of
