The vStroke role collaborates with a diverse team to enhance
evidence-based practices by utilizing established stroke protocols
through a telemedicine platform. This position ensures
comprehensive care for stroke patients by delivering quality
support and collecting data across various hospitals. You will be
accountable for the patient care provided to your assigned
individuals, while also upholding patient rights and maintaining

position involves working with a multidisciplinary team to support
evidence-based practices through established stroke protocols via
telemedicine. You will ensure that stroke patients receive
continuous care by providing quality support and collecting
relevant data across multiple healthcare facilities. You will
maintain professional accountability for the care of your assigned
patients, ensuring their rights and confidentiality are respected.
Responsibilities must be performed in alignment with our Mission,
Values, and Service Standards. Qualifications: Education:
Completion of an Accredited Nursing Program; an Associate’s Degree
in Nursing is required. Preferred Education: A Bachelor of Science
in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of
recent direct patient care experience with Neurology patients in an
acute care environment, including Adult Med/Surg or Emergency
Department experience. Licensure: Must hold a state license in the
area of practice, with a current RN Temporary Permit/RN.
Multi-state licensure is required within 6 months of hire.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, NIH Stroke
Scale (NIHSS) certification within one month of hire, and Stroke
Certified Registered Nurse (SCRN) certification within 3 years of
hire are mandatory. Other Skills: Strong communication abilities
and effective collaboration within a team setting are essential.
Candidates must demonstrate the capacity to work independently and
prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment. A solid understanding of
the pathophysiology and rationale for specialized therapies related
