Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - PACU Job Details: • Seasonal travel nursing position in Pre-Op/PACU department • 12-hour shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM • On-call responsibilities included • Potential for 2 shifts per month • Patient ratio of 2:1 • Work with GE Monitors and Meditech EMR system • Perform Phase I recovery and Phase II discharge procedures • Must have ACLS/BLS certifications • Minimum 2 years PACU experience required • Pre-op experience preferred • Fast-paced environment requiring upbeat personality • Work on 2nd floor PACU unit with 15 beds and 35 staff members Facility: This healthcare facility is a well-established Denver institution and 9th Avenue landmark with over 60 years of service.
