Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work seasonal travel assignment • 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Position located on 9 South floor in main hospital building • Work on Medical-Surgical Orthopedic unit with 20 beds • Maintain 1:5 nursing ratio with 5 patient assignment • Independent patient care required • Experience in surgical unit required • Pain management experience preferred • Orthopedic experience preferred • Perform typical procedures including dressing changes and aspiration • Work with EMR system Meditech • Positive attitude and team player personality essential • Care for diverse patient population including elective orthopedic and orthopedic trauma patients • Work alongside dedicated nursing team focused on patient experience and quality outcomes Facility: This healthcare facility features a specialized medical-surgical orthopedic unit that provides comprehensive care for both elective orthopedic procedures and trauma patients.
