Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Orthopedics - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Orthopedics Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Maintain 1:5 nursing ratio with 5 patients independently • Must have experience in surgical unit environments • Work with diverse patient population including elective orthopedic and orthopedic trauma patients • Perform typical procedures including dressing changes and aspiration • Use Meditech EMR system • Pain management experience preferred • Orthopedic experience preferred • Must demonstrate positive attitude and team player mentality • Work alongside 1 charge nurse and 4 nurses per shift • 20-bed orthopedic unit located on 9 South floor Facility: This healthcare facility features a dedicated 20-bed orthopedic unit that provides specialized care for both elective orthopedic procedures and trauma patients.
