dedicated Cardiovascular Specialist PRN like you to be a part of
our team. Job Summary and Qualifications The Cardiovascular
Specialist must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills in
the care of his/ her patients. The delivery of care is based on
criteria that is age appropriate and is based on physical,
psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of the
individual patient. The Cardiovascular Specialist may rotate to
areas other than his/ her assigned service area, and will perform
only those duties for which he/ she has demonstrated competency.
The Cardiovascular Specialist performs delegated duties consistent
with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and
overall plan of care at HCA HealthONE. The Cardiovascular
Specialist provides patient care for those in the GERIATRIC AND
ADULT population. Perform Lab testing as assigned based on protocol
of each test, documenting results and communicating critical as
defined. Complete competency as required. Follow lab testing safety
guidelines, maintenance and QC completion/documentation, and
proficiency testing as assigned. Follow "good lab practice" in
testing and initiate corrective action as issues occur with test
system or result. Educational records (diploma or transcript) are
mandatory for staff performing non-waived testing. What
qualifications you will need: - Current licensure in the State of
Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate
nursing licensure, or current registration as Registered Radiology
Technologist (RTR), or current certification as Registered
Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS); current BLS
certification and current ACLS certification through AHA or ARC. -
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing, accredited RTR and/or
RCIS training program. - 2 years in specialty or recent graduate of
