ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Denver, Colorado. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - PACU Job Details: • Work 12.5-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM • Staggered shift scheduling with pre-op starting at 5:30 AM and last staff arriving at 2:00 PM • Unit staffed until 9:30 PM during day shift • Night shifts are call only - call is required • Must be flexible to float between pre-op and PACU units • Maintain 2:1 patient ratios • Work with a large variety of surgical cases including high volume of complex surgeries • Use Phillips monitors and Meditech EMR system • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS • Meditech experience preferred • ICU cases go directly to ICU unless facility is at capacity • Must be flexible and able to work collaboratively between both units Facility: This healthcare facility operates a combined pre-op and PACU unit with 10 beds in each department, located on the 2nd floor of Tower A in the main hospital building. The facility features a high-functioning team of 17 exceptional nurses who work collaboratively between both units. The organization handles a large variety of surgical cases with significant volume of complex surgeries and maintains modern equipment including Phillips monitoring systems and Meditech EMR.
