Description: We are seeking a Travel RN for Labor and Delivery. The
position requires expertise in both labor and delivery as well as
postpartum care. The unit features 14 labor, delivery, recovery,
and postpartum rooms along with 2 operating rooms. The nursing
staff includes a charge RN, multiple labor and delivery RNs, and
postpartum RNs. Patient ratios are 1:1 to 1:2 for labor and
delivery cases and 3:1 for postpartum cases as per applicable
guidelines. The unit utilizes Beacon EMR, CPN, and Meditech for
patient management. Candidates should be flexible, adaptable, and
possess a kind demeanor. A teamwork-oriented attitude is essential,
with a preference for individuals who maintain a positive work
environment. Typical procedures performed in the unit include
versions, cesarean sections, vaginal assisted deliveries, and
dilation and curettage. This is an excellent opportunity for RNs
