Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab
position in Colorado requiring at least one year of cath lab
experience and a CO or compact RN license. Responsibilities - Work
in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting - Day shift schedule
with 10-hour shifts, four days per week - On-call shifts are
required - Use of Epic for charting is required - Responsibilities
include performing independent and delegated nursing functions
specific to cardiac cath lab - Duties include patient assessment,
implementation, and evaluation of care plans, as well as providing
health teaching and counseling - May be required to float to other
departments according to competency and qualifications -
Documentation must be completed in accordance with hospital and
regulatory guidelines - On-site drug screen and background check
must be completed as directed prior to the start date Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license required at time of application -
Current American Heart Association BLS certification required -
Current American Heart Association ACLS certification required
before the start date - Minimum of one year recent experience in a
Cath Lab setting - Associate degree in nursing required; BSN
preferred - No pending licenses permitted at time of consideration
