Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with a CO or compact license, Level 1 or 2 trauma experience, and Epic proficiency. Responsibilities - Position is in the Operating Room at a hospital setting - Day shift with 3x10 hour shifts, 6:45 to 17:15 - Weekend shifts required, up to 2 weekends per month - On-call required: 2 shifts per 6-week period, one weekday night and one weekend day or night - Floating required between inpatient and outpatient OR settings as well as between pavilions - Patient population includes general surgery, orthopedics, and neurosurgery - Epic EMR is used and experience is required - First-time travelers will be considered for this assignment - Drug screening is mandatory, including THC/marijuana, prior to assignment start - Online modules must be completed prior to start and typically take about 4 hours - Maximum of 5 days of requested time off per 13-week contract is highly encouraged - Parking is available at an approximate monthly cost of $25 Requirements - Active CO or compact RN license required - Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required - Minimum of 3 years OR RN experience required - At least 2 years of recent Level 1 or 2 trauma center experience required - Proficiency in general surgery, orthopedic, and neuro procedures required - Epic EMR experience is required Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627106.
