Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist with at least 1 year of cath lab experience and active ARRT or RCIS certification. Responsibilities - Work in a cardiac catheterization lab environment - Perform invasive cardiovascular procedures assisting physicians in imaging and interventions - Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, 5 days per week - Adult cardiac and vascular patient population - Utilizes EPIC for charting - Provide technical and patient care support during invasive cardiovascular procedures - Assist with radiological imaging, scrub duties, and maintenance of sterile procedures - Operate imaging equipment and manage procedure documentation - Educate patients and families about procedures and expectations - Maintain unit order, cleanliness, and appropriate stock for procedures - Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives - Dress code and attire requirements will be provided prior to start Requirements - Minimum 1 year of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab - Active ARRT or RCIS certification, or Registered Respiratory Therapist with cardiovascular-specific certification - BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required - Fluoroscopy Certification required - High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred - Must supply own radiation badge - Active license required if applicable Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-619348.
