Summary: Registered Nurse ICU position available at Rose Medical Center, requiring current licensure in Colorado, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-2 years of acute care experience.

The Registered Nurse demonstrates knowledge and skills in the care of patients, providing safe, appropriate, and age-specific care within the Standards of Nursing Practice at Rose Medical Center. The usual patients admitted to the Intensive Care Units include those aged 14 and above who have undergone surgery and/or are in need of intensive monitoring and nursing practice.

Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Perform delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care at Rose Medical Center.
  
• Take call and meet call shift requirements established by the department.
  
• Complete competency as required and follow lab testing safety guidelines, maintenance and QC completion/documentation, and proficiency testing as assigned.
  
• Communicate positively and professionally with all internal and external customers.
  
  
  Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
    
  • Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
    
  • ACLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
    
  • BSN is desirable.
    
  • Able to articulate and demonstrate appropriate nursing theory and practice.
    
  • Prefer 1-2 years acute care and/or telemetry experience, however new graduates are considered.
