Job Description:

A company is looking for a Remote Medical Coder - Hospital Outpatient.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing the maintenance of medical records and coding of data from medical records
Participating in the preparation of reports and correspondence regarding patient admissions, treatment, and discharges
Working collaboratively with providers and coding team to ensure accurate clinical information in medical records

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
3 years of prior relevant medical coding experience
CCS or CPC certification
US Citizenship
Willingness to undergo a Federal Background Check process
