with the Colorado State Board of Health, all staff working for

inpatient services.SUMMARY: Provide quality compassionate patient
care utilizing nursing process to meets the needs of patients of
all ages. Performs age specific patient care in a safe, timely and
professional manner utilizing professional practice.DUTIES:--
Administers medications utilizing the 7 Rights: Right Drug, Right
Client, Right Dose, Right Time, Right Route, Right Reason, and
Right Documentation.-- Demonstrates knowledge and skills to act
appropriately in an emergency situation. (ALCS, BLS, TNCC,
PALS/ENPC skills sets).-- Demonstrates knowledge and participates
in education and counseling of patients and their family,
caretakers or friends a plan of care and discharge teaching.--
Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competency.
Certified ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS/ENPC.-- Promotes positive
interpersonal relationships and demonstrates effective
communication skills with patients, families and colleagues.--
Maintains confidentiality of all patient and hospital information.
Able to describe HIPPA regulations and security measures to protect
privacy of medical records.-- Practices according to professional
and ethical standards. Demonstrates an understanding of and
functions as a professional nurse in accordance with Colorado State
Nurse Practice Act.-- Participates in financial stewardship as
evidenced by efficient use of resources and supplies, reviewing
charges -- When requested and possible, participates in committees
and/or community events as a member of EPH.-- Performs in
accordance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulatory
agency standards.-- Performs in accordance with EPH vision, mission
and goals.-- All other duties associated in the professional role
of RN.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:-- Education: Associate Degree in
Nursing-- Experience - 2 years preferred-- Colorado Nursing License
or Compact State Multi-License -- Required certifications: American
Heart Association ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC-- Recommended
certifications: NRP, CEN, NIHSS IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!!VERIFICATION
OF CREDENTIALS CHECKLIST Before agency personnel may provide care
to patients or perform any responsibility requiring a license, a HR
representative will confirm receipt of the following
credentials/documents from candidates travel agency:-- Current CO
license or multistate license and source verifiedo If permanent
license, verify online & print a copy of the page.o If temporary
license, have copy of authorization letter from Colorado Board of
Nursing; verify by phone, note on copy and place in their file.--
Copies of certifications required for the position that are listed
in the Job Description.o Such as: BLS and ACLS must be AHA, and
PALS. -- Immunization records including documentation of immunity
to Rubella, Rubeola, Mumps, Varicella-Zoste, Hep B and Tetanus.--
TB test within the last year. Acceptable tests include QuantiFERON
or Tspot or True Two step PPD (which means skins test and read must
be done 2 times not just once. If they do not have the Two step PPD
already it will take a few weeks to get it, so the other options
are suggested.)-- Influenza shot is required by the State of
Colorado no exceptions during influenza season. Influenza season is
Sept 1st (depending on availability of flu vaccines) through to
March 31st of the following year, or as otherwise defined by the
Department of Epidemiology and Flu Surveillance Team.--
Confirmation of having received the COVID Vaccine (copy of vaccine
card).-- Copy of negative 10 panel drug screen results (within the
last 30 days).-- Resume' with work experience.-- Documented
references.-- Proof of all required Regulatory (OSHA) Training.--
Assessment of skills/competencies.-- Results of criminal background
check including OIG (within the last 30 days).-- CAPS check through
the State of Colorado (required for all patient care positions).I
will also need a W-9 for your company.
