Registered Nurse Mom Baby Postpartum and Antepartum Job
Description: Saint Joseph Hospital is part of Intermountain Health,

Infants at Saint Joseph Hospital was designed exclusively for new
moms and babies. Every inch of this special floor is dedicated to
the care, comfort and well-being of new mothers and infants. With
18 expansive labor and delivery rooms with large jetted tubs, a
dedicated elevator that goes directly to the floor and 42 private
rooms that serve as a home away from home after childbirth, Saint
Joseph Hospital is a great place for families. Our Mom/Baby
Postpartum and Antepartum RNs possess expertise in caring for
babies post-birth, working together with our Labor & Delivery staff
to help with the transition from Labor & Delivery to Recovery. We
also have a Level III NICU on-site. We are proud to be a Baby
Friendly Hospital and a private teaching hospital. To show our
commitment to you and to assist with your transition into our
organization, we will also offer up to a sign-on and relocation
assistance, when applicable. Scope As a Registered Nurse you know
that every day is different, which is why you need to know how to
assess, recognize and address patients psychological and physical
needs- Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients
and their families in mind Communicate compassionately and
effectively- Assist in developing individualized treatment plans
Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines
Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs Participate in clinical
team conferences- Follow hospital, regulatory and professional
guidelines, policies and procedures Minimum Qualifications Basic
Life Support (BLS) Certification for healthcare providers. ASN /
ADN from an accredited program with the ability to obtain your BSN
from an accredited program within four (4) years of hire unless you
possess a minimum of fifteen (15) years of proven continuous
Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting, required
Current Colorado RN license or compact license with the ability to
obtain Colorado RN license, required. Physical Requirements:

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36 The hourly range for this position is
listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $36.80
