We provide our community with the latest and most technologically advanced catheter procedures including, but not limited to: transradial approach coronary procedures, peripheral vascular procedures, CTOs, Impella, and IABP. Our Electrophysiology Lab is just as innovative with CARTO, EP Med System, ESI Mapping, Watchman, PVI ablations and many other clinical modalities improving patients' lives. Our Cath/EP Lab RNs assist the physicians with the safe performance of cardiology procedures primarily in the circulating role. Our ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of cardiac medications, EKG, be able to provide conscious sedation, support an anesthesiologist with general anesthesia and respond appropriately to emergency situations. Our RNs analyze, use, and care for diverse technical equipment, supplies, while maintaining accurate records as necessary.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Adherence to Standards of Professional Nursing Practice/ Process / Performance and accrediting body standards.
  • Ensures all duties, responsibilities and competencies are conducted in a manner that is effective and appropriate to patients/clients to who care/service is being provided.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and applicability of the principles of growth and development over the life span, as well as demonstrating the ability to assess data reflecting the patient's status and interpreting appropriate cultural information of the patient(s) to whom care/ services is being delivered/provided.
  • Employee has completed and met their clinical competency standards.
  • Ability to use medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
  • Skilled in maintaining effective working relationship with patients, employees, and the public.
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Ability to interpret adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate clearly. Computers and Technology:
    • Microsoft Office Suite required.
    • EPIC documentation preferred.Education:
      • Completion of an accredited nursing education program that is accredited and satisfies the licensing requirements of the Colorado State Board of Nursing for Registered Nurses.
      • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Experience:At least one-year RN experience in a Cath Lab or CVICU.Credentials:
        • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Colorado or a participating compact state. National board certification is a preference and encouraged for staff nurses.
        • BLS from American Heart Association or Red Cross required.
        • ACLS from American Heart Association required. *Specialty certifications as required/recommended per unit.
