better our community!Here is some of what you can expect from being
an Emergency Department Clinical Nurse Coordinator with us:
- As a CNC, you will assumes responsibility for direction and
coordination of all functions during the designated shift.
- You will function as a resource person for staff member and
assists in necessary education of individual members of the nursing
staff.
- You will assume responsibility for the overall quality of
nursing care provided when s/he is on duty.
- You will make decisions regarding activities with these areas
based on Administrative Operational Standards, Nursing
Administrative Standards, Human Resource Standards, and Standards
of Care for the unit, in collaboration with other members of the
management team.What qualifications you will need:
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered
Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support, ACLS and PALS required upon hire. TNCC
(Trauma Nurse Core Course) and ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatrics
Course) required within 6 months of hire. CPEN and/or CEN
certification preferred.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN
preferred.
- Activity in Professional organizations encouraged.
- Two (2) years experience in clinical practice in the specialty
of his/her unit and leadership/management experience is
