1,400 physicians.The Swedish Medical Center Nuclear Medicine PET/CT
department is the largest in the state of Colorado. Our Center
offers a dedicated, caring staff, highly trained radiologists and
next day scheduling for nearly every procedure. Swedish is the
first department in Colorado with two Positron Emission
Tomography/Computed Tomography (PET/CT) scanners and had the first
cardiac rubidium PET/CT stress test program in the state. Unique to
Swedish, every technologist that performs PET/CT studies is board
certified in both Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT. This ensures that
you will receive the best possible care from technologists that are
very knowledgeable and at the top of their profession.Unique

Summary:Individual responsible for solid to expert knowledge of all
Nuclear Medicine, PET CT (Positron Emission Tomography/Computerized
Tomography ) procedures. Communicates and works independently in
performing all nuclear medicine, PET CT procedures on customers
ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood. Prioritizes,
provides, and promotes quality patient care to support the Mission,
Vision, and Values of Swedish Medical Center. Maintains and
supports facility technical and documentation expectations
consistent with JCAHO regulations and standards. Positively
reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients,
medical staff, and employees. Demonstrates independent critical
thinking skills to assume accountability for personal and team

Licensure/Certification/Registration:ARRT or NMTCB (CNMT)
certification and CE compliant. NMTCB (PET) certification and CE
compliant. Current American Heart Association or ARC BLS for
Healthcare Provider certification.Education:Graduate of 24-month
AMA approved school of Nuclear Medicine TechnologyCertified by the
ARRT or N.M.T.C.B.Experience:One year PET CT experience
preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Solid knowledge and skills for
all Nuclear Medicine and PET CT procedures.Degree of Supervision
RequiredMinimal to moderate supervision. Individual anticipates and
initiates his/her own performance, applying critical thinking
skills to provide high quality PET CT images and in compliance with
policies, procedures and standards established by supervisor.Notice
