Job Summary

Denver Health is recruiting a Neurology Surgery Physician to join our team! -- Physicians and surgeons diagnose illnesses, prescribe and administer treatment for people suffering from injury and/or disease. Physicians examine patients, obtain medical histories, and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests. Surgeons specialize in the treatment of injury, disease, and deformity through operations. Documents all services in patient medical record. Serves as faculty members of the University of Colorado, School of Medicine.

    -- 1.Physicians at Denver Health are faculty members of the University of Colorado School of Medicine serve as teachers for students seeking clinical experience at Denver Health and provide education for post graduate medical trainees.

    Education and Experience

    1.Graduation from an Accredited Medical School and completed Accredited Residency Programs and fellowships for specialist, or equivalent.

    2.Board Certified.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    1.Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures and techniques.

    2.Thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment.

    3.Able to effectively manage and direct medical staff support activities while providing quality medical care.

    4.Able to receive detailed information through oral communications; express or exchange ideas by verbal communications.

    5.Excellent written and verbal communications, listening, and social skills.

    6.Able to interact effectively with people of varied educational, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds, skill levels and value systems.

    7.Performs in a tactful and professional manner.

    8.A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

    9.Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

    Min: $476,400

    Mid: $555,800

    Max: $665,500
