We want your knowledge and expertise!Here is some of what you can expect from being a Pre-Admit Registered Nurse with us:-- You will serve as primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care prior to admission and procedure/surgery. -- You will be responsible for obtaining patient history and current medications, ensuring nursing assessment is completed and standard of care initiated. -- You will obtain and/or coordinate pre-admission diagnostic testing (EKGs, Labs, CXR, etc.), and analyze pertinent data, communicate findings, and documents information accurately. -- You will initiate and document pre-procedure/operative instruction and discharge teaching, involving patient and family/significant other. -- You may work telephonically or in-person with the patient.Swedish Medical Center, part of HCA?s HealthONE, is located in the south metro Denver area where it has been a proud member of the community for more than 110 years.
