For example, you prepare the treatment room; you maintain the schedule and ensure the team is sticking to it; you interact with patients before, during, and after procedures; and you assist the dentist chairside. And these are just some of the many duties on your plate.QualificationsEducation:Graduation from high school or equivalent is required.ExperiencePrevious dental assistant experience desired, but not required.Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.Licensure/CertificationMust be radiology certified within the timeframe set by Dental Department standards.Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers from one of the following organizations:* American Heart Association;* American Safety and Health Institute; or* American Red Cross.No licensure or certification is needed to be hired, although Dental Assistants must become credentialed through the Salud Career Ladders program.Additional InformationSalud Family Health Centers is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
