Job Title: Product Manager Supervisor: Vice President of Product Management Department: Product Management Date prepared: 7/08/2019 Job Summary:The Product Manager acts as the primary voice of the customer, able to clearly articulate user needs and ensure business value of assigned products. The position requires a high degree of collaboration, bringing together stakeholders from across the organization to understand and balance varying product needs to; ensure that our products make our customers and users lives better and that we can scale efficiently and effectively. Product Managers define, refine, and align user stories to effectively communicate why product priorities are necessary, and how they relate to other competing work. --Finally, the Product Manager is a relentless advocate for not just the user, but also for the internal teams who bring our products to market and does whatever it takes to make sure the team has the direction, answers, and tools needed to deliver. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Work with stakeholders to collect and prioritize product enhancements; work effectively with teams to create solutions, not barriers.Define, clarify, and track product outcomes and features from definition to development. Broker and agree on trade-offs in the definition and development cycles to ensure that stake-holders expectations are aligned with product delivery.Identify and project manage dependencies, and work to align priorities and resources to meet objectives.Define and create objective product metrics and goals to gauge and align continuous improvement of products.Communicate product updates across the organization, including user impact and benefits.With Product Marketing, drive GTM activities to support successful and repeatable product and feature launches, including support across the organization such as documentation and training.Aspire to create a virtuous cycle to make life better for both external and internal stakeholders. Minimum Job Requirements:3+ years of experience in Product Management for B2B technology solutions, preferably SaaS.Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.Experience effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Balanced technical and business acumen to evaluate product priorities.Strong project management skills with the ability to clearly set and achieve metric-based outcomes.Demonstrated experience shipping 'go to market' great products.Disciplined organization skills with acute attention to detail.Experience managing project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in a structured way.Previous experiencing driving requirements to consensus with cross-functional teams, including user stories and wireframes/prototypes.Experience analyzing and processing a multitude of solution alternatives to determine user value, scalability, performance, strategy and market alignment.Promotes and builds excitement around product offerings internally and externally.Prior experience with process manufacturing industry a plus.Ability to be a positive team player, willing to grow and change.
