DescriptionThe Social Media Content Managers are an important part of a client's success when working with the Social Media Management department. The Social Media Management department provides skilled managers and writers to help develop and grow small- and medium-sized business's social media presence. Therefore, the content managers fully manage the social content strategy for a large book of clients (anywhere between 40-80 in a month) to help them better develop their online social presence and social proof. Content creators do not have any direct interaction with customers. Rather, you work closely with your team's Social Media Managers to collaborate and communicate the clients' strategies.The core of the position is writing all day, everyday. However, content managers also assist with creative assets needed for client's social media strategies.Who You Are You possess strong critical thinking, organization and time management skills. You comfortably navigate between business models, and social marketing strategies to deliver the best results while partnering with other team members to meet client's goals. RequirementsWhat You'll Do You will work daily on content to accurately reflect a businesses voice and brand. You will create design assets for your clients when needed. You will communicate frequently and effectively with teammates while balancing your daily workflow.You will use platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, Houzz, YouTube and more. How You'll Make MoneyContent Managers earn a starting salary of $30,000 per year. Each Content Manager will have the opportunity for raises above this based on performance.Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat are the opportunities for growth?Opportunity for growth at Madwire is two-fold.The Social Media Content Manager has a large amount of opportunity to grow within the company. When Social Media Manager positions become available tenured Content Managers have an opportunity to apply for those roles. The content manager position is the proving grounds for future Social Media Management talent. As we expand and grow, the best of the best content managers get promoted to Social Media Managers, where they manage their own customer base and gain access to uncapped commissions. When it comes to our Social Media Managers' books, Madwire does not cap the opportunity for personal growth. This means that, assuming satisfactory performance is exhibited, Social Media Managers are given a lot of independence to continue to take on new accounts. Growing their book of clients essentially gives themselves a raise! Social Media Managers can also grow their book by working with the team to grow their existing clients' accounts. When new teams are built (based on company growth), Social Media Managers who consistently demonstrate leadership on their teams and who maintain high performance levels can earn the opportunity to apply for the Lead Social Media Manager position. This is a management position in which individuals are expected to continue leading by example while encouraging and facilitating team performance.How are the teams structured?Marketing teams are led by two Senior Marketing Directors (the managers) and accounts on the team are managed and overseen by Marketing Executives. In addition, there is a Team Lead and team members in the following departments: Project Managers, SEO Experts, Technical PPC Specialists, Social Media, and Creative Designers. There are currently 8 marketing teams, with plans for the ninth and tenth teams to be built in 2019.What else makes the position notable?Our hours are 7-4 pm Monday through Friday. There is no travel, no weekend work, and leads are generated for you. We invest heavily in advertising and marketing to generate leads. The same strategies you are selling to customers are what we use to drive leads for ourselves.Employee Health BenefitsHealthcare coverage with supplemental dental and vision plans. Eligibility to enter the plan is the first of the month following 2 months of employment.401(k)Eligibility to enter plan is first of the month following 60 days of employment.Paid Time Off 10 paid holidays per year and an additional paid day off for your birthday. 80 hours of PTO after 90 days of employment in your first year with the company. Increases to 120 hours at year three and to 160 hours at year four. Paid time off to volunteer.
