Job Description Who we are looking for: Accomplished and seasoned pre-sales, sales engineering, and solution architecture leader with proven success growing and enabling technical field sales teams in driving client success and revenue. Dynamic self-starter with a background leading technical teams in selling solutions comprised of technologies, professional services, and managed security services. How you’ll make an impact: Lead, manage and develop a field pre-sales organization of more than 130 people including Area Vice Presidents, Solution Directors, and Client Solutions Architects Executive member of the Sales Leadership Team responsible for partnering with field sales leadership across 28 regions and 275+ sales representatives responsible for addressing client needs in the US and Canada Align and enable team to execute Company’s go to market approach of being a Security Solutions Integrator to an established and growing client base focused on the mid/large enterprise, federal government, and state and local government Enhance talent recruitment, development, and training processes and systems to ensure consistency in approach and skillset across the organization Interface with clients, partners at an executive level to convey and position the value of Company in the market Participate and perform speaking engagements at industry conferences to enhance Company’s positioning in the market Partner and align with Company’s Executive Leadership Team (Services, Marketing, and Partners) to develop, position and deliver solutions to Company’s clients Partner with Service Delivery Leadership to evolve and enhance the Company client experience Enhance and deploy consistent goals management systems to ensure proper engagement, utilization and effectiveness of technical pre-sales organization Qualifications 15+ years of experience in Information Security & Networking; integration, solution definition, design, development and delivery 7+ years of successful experience leading widely deployed and geographically dispersed pre-sales engineering teams at a solutions provider, technology manufacturer, or services provider to effectively position and sell complex solutions to drive client outcomes Experience designing and implementing effective incentive compensations programs for field engineering and solutions architecture resources Experience implementing and enhancing career development (training, mentoring, leadership development) specific to field pre-sales engineering/architecture organizations Experience in budget management at large organizations Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience developing presentations for C-suite and board-level audiences Strong executive presence and comfort working with C-suite executives Track record of delivering value to sales organizations while operating in a fast-paced environment Relevant Bachelor’s degree; preference for computer science, business administration or related degrees
