    Support, Growth and Innovation POSITION SUMMARY:
    Develops and oversees
    fundraising strategies and all aspects of fundraising programs. Creates fundraising objectives and solicits
    funds to meet these goals. Identifies
    new donors and organizes initiatives to solicit funding. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts,
    practices, and procedures. Directs and
    oversees all internal processes and personnel related to multi-channel
    solicitations, gift entry, recordkeeping, moves management, reporting, and
    stewardship.
    KEY REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
    • Reports to
      President.
    • Supervises the
      Major Gifts Officer, Events Manager, Donor Database Specialist,
      Administrative Assistant, and volunteers.
      ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
      • Prepares
        strategic plan with short and long range goals to meet the organization's
        objectives.
        • Determines annual
          budget and historical analysis to drive annual goals and plans.
          • Selects,
            supervises, evaluates and manages development staff. Provides regular performance feedback,
            develops staff member's skills and encourages growth. Sets expectations, assigns responsibilities
            and monitors delegated activities.
            • Cultivates and solicits existing and past donors to
              consider renewals, new gifts and/or upgraded gifts.
              • Identifies new prospects within existing or new
                prospects pool.
                • Supervises and coordinates activities of staff
                  members engaged in maintaining records of contributors and grants; and
                  prepares letters of appreciation to be sent to contributors.
                  • Seeks out, reviews and summarizes government related
                    requests for proposals, and supporting literature related to end-of-life and
                    advanced illness programs and services.
                    • Coordinates the involvement of contract grant
                      writer(s) as needed.
                      • Develops and manages revenue and expense projections
                        related to grants, moves management/WealthEngine, and stewardship.
                        • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

                                  priorities work effectively, giving excellent attention to detail.
                                  • Displays strong
                                    leadership and management skills ensuring accountability.
                                    • Remains
                                      flexible when managing multiple priorities and changing circumstances and
                                      handles issues in a professional and timely manner.
                                      • Maintains
                                        customer service focus while working towards metrics and goals.
                                        • Participates in
                                          training and continuing education.
                                          POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
                                          Minimum Education: Bachelor's
                                          degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management or related
                                          field. Demonstrated knowledge of
                                          Raisers Edge.


                                          Minimum Experience: 3+ years of management experience. 7+ years
                                          fundraising experience.


                                          Required License: Colorado state driver's license and proof of auto
                                          insurance.
