Hitachi Vantara is seeking a Vice President of Global Programs and Demand Generation to lead our global programs, partner marketing and field marketing organizations in developing strategic programs to engage prospects, customers and partners, and to fill our sales pipeline. The Global Programs and Demand Generation team is a seasoned and talented group of creative and hardworking marketing professionals. The new leader will have the opportunity to mentor this team, while driving global efficiency and effectiveness of demand generation programs.
You will orchestrate a sophisticated approach to reaching multiple buying groups and personas within large global enterprises through integrated marketing programs executed directly and through our diverse partner ecosystem. This role has accountability for continuously increasing marketing ROI and partnering closely with the sales and partner organizations to ensure marketing goals, metrics and activities support the revenue plan and go-to-market strategies. You must be highly collaborative and work closely across the organization to champion, gain support and convey results of our marketing initiatives.
You will be responsible for formulating a program strategy that spans from brand to demand, using a mix of approaches ranging from account-based marketing (ABM) to the worlds largest enterprises to digital enablement of our reseller community. Throughout, you will foster an agile marketing culture focused on collaborative planning, focused execution, and an unwavering commitment to measurement and optimization.


* Build pipeline and revenue, working arm-in-arm with Sales and with support from the Digital, Brand & Communications, Solution/Product Marketing, Market Intelligence and Operations teams

* Build compelling campaigns for each persona by leveraging our strong brand and portfolio, and enable the client facing teams to deliver our story

* Develop clear strategies for engaging our partner ecosystem to accelerate business in key segments

* Take responsibility for results and closely monitor KPIs at each level of the funnel

* Thoroughly understand the competitive landscape, products, partner, customers and their buying triggers to develop campaigns with trackable improvements

* Lead regular interaction with Sales leaders to provide solutions and assess effectiveness of activities

* Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary, global team of marketers with a strong vision and culture of feedback to produce empirical results within budget

* Set and manage stakeholder expectations and drive focused execution across your marketing organization

* Will have held the role and made significant contributions as a senior leader within a similar sized company

* Proven ability to build, measure and increase pipeline & revenue

* Demonstrated success leading account-based marketing efforts to large enterprise customers

* Agility, passion, focus, drive, creativity, numbers, driven, fun-loving, wanting to drive change and be a part of something that is going to be outstanding and successful

* Track record of success developing and executing integrated B2B marketing campaigns, including goal setting, budget management, and results measurement

* Experience in leading teams across diverse and dispersed organizations and countries and a keen understanding of cultural diversity

* Excellent executive communication skills; ability to summarize, present and prioritize

* Strong interpersonal and team-building capabilities, ability to develop strong, trust-based relationships and manage effectively

* Passion for management, mentorship, leading a team and developing future leaders

* 15 years total experience in Demand Gen/Field Marketing disciplines, with at least 5 years' experience in B2B technology, SaaS, or other IT related industry marketing

* Ability to travel and be an active presence with global marketing and sales teams, as well as partners and customers
