We're proud to support the VA in delivering quality care to our nation's veterans.Role Overview:We are hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to support the Office of Community Care (OCC) and Referral Coordination Team (RCT) at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center and VA OCC office in Glendale, CO. These roles focus on coordinating and reviewing care in both VA and community settings - not bedside nursing.Registered Nurse (Long term Contract - VA Medical Center)Location: Aurora & Glendale, COPay Rate: $40-$45/hourContract Length: Multiyear contractShifts: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM (no weekends or holidays)Key Responsibilities:

• Review consults and medical records for completeness and clinical appropriateness
• Coordinate care between veterans, providers, and internal teams
• Triage specialty consults and guide veterans on care pathways
• Document activities and communications in the EHR
• Support consult templates and process improvements in collaboration with clinical staffMinimum Requirements:
  • Active RN license in at least one U.S. state or territory
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE)
  • 2+ years of direct patient care experience within the last 3 years
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to pass credentialing and background check through the VA
  • Comfortable with electronic documentation and interdepartmental collaborationPreferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in care coordination, case management, or utilization review
    • Prior VA or government contracting experience
    • ACLS certification
