Job Description:
What You'll Do Account Specialists at IMA are the backbone of a
highly collaborate and dynamic service team. Our real estate
business is currently looking to hire an experienced insurance
professional to join us. Responsibilities may include but are not
limited to: Provides support to the Account Manager & Account
Executive on large and complex client Interact with clients
(written or verbal) regarding program needs and new assignments.
Understand and deliver on client expectations within a book of
business. Temporarily back up Account Manager as needed.
Responsible for tasks related to invoicing, accounting, endorsement
processing, certificate issuance and audit reconciliation. Using
the HPIEx processes and workflow, and when needed, under the
direction of the Account Manager and Account Executive, takes the
lead on client specific projects and Utilizes the Agency Management
System (EPIC/Applied) to keep detailed information on accounts,
including, but not limited to, reviewing and processing of
certificates of insurance requests, providing direction to the Real
Estate Accounting (REA) invoicing team, surplus lines taxes and
fees calculations, policy processing, and any client specific
instructions for customized auto ID cards, billing requests,
financing of premiums, etc. Processing of policy endorsements in
conjunction and/or at the direction of Account Resolving premium
discrepancy issues, and audits on expired and/or non-renewed
policies. Timely responses on client matters, including internal
clients (team, other departments, etc) to ensure service needs are

among all IMA You Should Have: Required Experience and Skills:
include but are not limited to: 1-3 years applicable insurance
related experience, preferred Strong communication skills both
written and verbal Strong organizational skills Ability to work
independently Ability to work within EPIC and maintain data
completeness standards Ability to maintain current activities and
task lists (7-14 days is standard) Experience with MS Office
products required (specifically Power Point, Outlook, Word, and
Excel) Holds or is pursuing a property & casualty insurance license
Holds or is pursuing general insurance designation (preferred)
Limited travel required (less than 10% depending on book of

to our robust benefits package, the hiring range for this position
is $57,100 - $78,500. While this is the targeted range, final offer
amounts will depend on a variety of factors, including the
candidate's geographic location, prior relevant experience, and
