Job Description:
Service ManagerSwan is a fast growing company that is driven by

Manager to manage the HVAC service and repair operations of the
company. This includes overseeing the daily dispatching and
efficiencies of the service technicians and department. Other
duties include customer relations, reviewing all billing and
warranty claims, interaction with the other managers in respect to
their warranty and installation needs and ensuring all service
technicians are properly trained. The Service Manager is expected
to handle all aspects of the service department and to ensure its
continued profitability and growth.Schedule: Monday - Fridays 7am -
5pm - some weeknights and weekends.Pay Range: $120-150k annually,
depending on experience.Responsibilities:Achieve planned gross
profit through leadership and management of service
staff.Responsible for generating annual revenue and is accountable
for all the team activities and business results.Understand sales
criteria and hold your team accountable for achieving revenue
goals.Ensure proper staffing, training, tools, systems, and
procedures are in place to allow staff to complete all work in a
high quality and cost-effective manner.Prepare complete, clear, and
concise reports, proposals, required company paperwork as required.
Maintain support information relative to ongoing work.Profitability
improvement to Service Agreements.Oversee and manage the service
warehouse inventory.Ensure required parts are ordered by service
coordinators without delay to ensure work deadlines are met.Review
applicable reports each month and provides feedback to service
technicians; feedback includes areas where productivity needs
improvement.Train and develop HVAC Field Technicians; appraise
performance with both reward and discipline.Responsible for
interviewing, hiring, reviewing, and terminating
technicians.Supervise the Service Dispatcher(s) and parts person if
applicable.Develop and lead monthly meetings with all technicians
to discuss previous months, upcoming months' goals and plans.Lead
monthly individual coaching sessions with every technician.Develop
individual progress plan for each technician and coordinate
training to ensure plan success.Review daily service tickets and
ensure that repair quotes are submitted to the customer quickly and
accurately.Review all warranty invoices, making sure that all valid
warranty issues are addressed to the vendor, parts, misc. field
materials and labor.Ensure Service Technicians provide detailed
invoice in a thorough manner, so the customer understands the
service rendered and the problem was taken care of.Follow-up with
outstanding quotes / estimates forms to secure additional
work.Oversee assigned HVAC service van fleet. Monitors all trucks
are being maintained and operated as required and used according to
company policies. This includes ensuring that the technicians are
able to work out of the vehicle efficiently and that parts stocked
in each van are adequate. Monitor that in-truck parts inventory is
kept at proper levels.Address complaints and resolving problems
from the field or from external customers.Ensure incentive programs
are equitable and properly documented.Assist Service Technicians
out in the field when necessary.Coordination and implementation of
service marketing calendar.Develop and maintain department training
calendar.Work with CSR/Dispatch Manager on all department customer
escalation issues or complaints.Develop and maintain department
training calendar to ensure all certification requirements are
met.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:Three years related
experience and/or training in customer service, management in a
service industry or equivalent combination of education and
experience.Knowledge of industry is recommended but not
required.High school diplomaValid driver's licenseComputer
skillsAbility to multi-taskOrganizedAdvanced customer service
