Job Description:

We are seeking an incredibly talented and growth-minded individual who wants to help build something incredible. Our brokerage is home to some of the top producing agents and teams in town, and keeping the brokerage running on all cylinders is clutch; that is largely this person's role. Our team is FUN, energetic, and committed to a significant impact in our community. This person needs to reflect these values, and have a strong desire to transform lives (both their own, their families, their co-workers, and clients) as a result of their work. As our brokerage continues to grow, we're looking for the Operations Director (known in our system as a Market Center Administrator, or MCA) to grow with us. This position is essentially a mix of the CFO of the office (managing the books, processing agent documents and checks, coaching agents in our financial model, etc.) and an Office Manager (paying the bills, opening/closing processes, helping coordinate events, and outreach, etc.). This is a very key role on the Executive Leadership Team of 4 talented people that run the office. Here's some more info on the role: The MCA is a critical member of the Market Center leadership team, which also includes the Operating Principal (OP) and the Team Leader (TL). In collaboration with this team, the MCA uses the systems, tools, and conversations of the Growth Initiative to collaboratively drive the Market Center to profitability through growth in market share. Additionally, this leadership team drives the Career Growth Initiative (CGI) in the Market Center. They lead associates to set goals, point associates to the production solutions that will enable them to achieve their goals and then engage associates in weekly conversations to keep them on track with their goals. The MCA can be thought of as the "voice of value" in the Market Center. Using the tools and conversations of the Growth Initiative and Career Growth Initiative, they own the Market Center's value systems and consistently quantify and communicate value to support associate validity. They use this value to both attract and retain associates while supporting associates' growth in production. They monitor their success by inspecting net agent count and profitability, and they meet or exceed the standard of netting at least five associates per month. Additionally, using these tools and conversations, they support associates in building profitable businesses by demonstrating and consulting on shared business-building fundamentals. Responsibilities: The MCA leads the Market Center staff in designing and implementing powerful support and operational systems that empower associate businesses. They are leaders in strategic, financial decision-making, ensure appropriate bookkeeping and accounting systems are accurately maintained, complete weekly soft closes, and assess Company Dollar daily. MCAs own Market Center profitability and understand that increasing revenue through growth in market share unlimited their opportunity. They support the Team Leader and associates and lead the Market Center staff. MCAs proactively use the systems, tools, and conversations of the Growth Initiative and the Career Growth Initiative to minimize challenges. However, when challenges arise, MCAs leverage evidence from the Growth Initiative and the Career Growth Initiative to direct associates to productive solutions. The MCA uses the Leverage system and tools to hire and lead a powerful staff who will support the MCA, TL, and OP in achieving Market Center goals as a product of achieving their own goals. The MCA is an individual who is a rapid problem solver, who easily and quickly learns from their environment, and who appreciates an efficient work structure. They are able to think through a problem or solution in order to present it logically to others and enjoy a variety of responsibilities in a changing environment. They are not typically demanding, strive to cultivate trust and goodwill through effective communication, and are concerned about doing what is right according to the standards. Qualifications: --- The MCA must be an independent decision-maker, self-sufficient, and self-directed in their activities while understanding their activities must be in complete alignment with the Growth Initiative, the Career Growth Initiative, and the rest of the Market Center leadership team. --- MCAs have a track record of success in supportive leadership roles with a background in accounting. --- At least 1-3 years of experience in leading others.
