Our systems deal with large amounts of structured data and high volumes of transactional data that ensure our customers can board and manage merchants and the customer payments that they process.As a Director of Software Development with Infinicept, you will direct and be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications according to business needs. You will maximize the efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness of your team. You will ensure that the team is working cohesively, driving the software forward, and making good on their commitments. You will help them estimate accurately, create proposals for adopting new technology and addressing technical debt, resolve obstacles and impediments on their behalf, and make sure channels of communication are kept open and transparent. You will mentor, teach, and develop good programming principles in your team members. You will ensure that the engineering team's work meets technical standards for quality, design, and performance. You will work closely with product management and other stakeholders to clarify objectives, set delivery schedules, and manage application features.We solve problems collaboratively, working together to find the most creative and innovative solutions to the challenges of our space within finance and technology.   • Are proficient with C#/.NET/SQL Server and modern frameworks

  • Have experience with applications at scale

  • Other duties, as assignedCore Requirements:
    • 7+ years real world experience writing professional software
    • 3+ years leading teams of engineers
    • 5+ years working in SDLC using Agile, Kanban and related approaches
    • Prior experience mentoring and leading teams to success
    • Broad technical skillset, including application design, DevOps, QA/testing, and API design
    • Proficient in C#/.NET Core, SQL Server, and Azure cloud environment
