Full Time, Days. 40 hours/week.$10,000 Sign On Bonus available
for new hires.Pay range is between $38.96-$58.44/hr, depending on

primary functions of a manager in planning, marketing, assessing,
implementing, program development, evaluating the operation of this
department; strives to promote teamwork inter and
intra-departmentally, working professionally with the community and
physicians; adheres to the philosophy, mission and objectives of
Boulder Community Hospital, and CARF/Joint Commission accreditation
requirementsUpon request of the physician, and/or registered nurse,
or per protocol initiates and performs basic and advanced
respiratory care techniques and with knowledge sets up, operates
and maintains various types of respiratory care equipment utilized
in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or
illness. Under the direction of the department director, utilizes
management skills to perform day-to-day operations for the
provision of respiratory care services. Provides consultation and
technical assistance to physicians, nursing personnel and other
clinical personnel regarding respiratory care treatments,
procedures and ventilator management. Maintains and supports
quality monitoring activities.JOB QUALIFICATIONSEducation or Formal
Training.Degree in Respiratory Therapy as required by CRT or RRT
with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)Special
Qualifications (Licensure, Registration, etc.)Certified or
Registered by NBRCBLSKnowledge, Skill and AbilityAdaptability and
flexibility; Adapts easily when a patient plan of care or workflow
changes; works in continually changing conditions.Adapts as health
care evolves and engages in regular continuing education aimed at
refining their clinical knowledge and skills to improve patient

manner.ExperienceFive+ years' experience as a Respiratory Therapist
working with a broad spectrum of respiratory.Must be knowledgeable
in the domain of inpatient and outpatient respiratory
therapy.Three-year management and supervisory experience
preferred.SUPERVISORY DUTIESManages staff in the Respiratory
Therapy DepartmentESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAccomplishes
department objectives by managing staff; planning and
evaluatingdepartment activities.Maintains staff by recruiting,
selecting, orienting, and training employees.Ensures a safe,
secure, and legal work environment.Develops personal growth
opportunities.Accomplishes staff results by communicating job
expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job
results.Coaches, counsels, and disciplines employees.WORKING
ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIESProvide respiratory care services to
patients of all ages 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in all
appropriate units/areas within the hospital. Requires walking,
bending, lifting, pushing, repetitive compressing, stretching.While
performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to
constantly stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to
stoop, crouch and twist. The employee is occasionally required to
kneel, squat and sit.The employee must be able to consistently
support, push, pull and/or lift up to 10 pounds, frequently
support, push, pull and/or lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally
support, push, pull and/or transfer up to 50 pounds (for example,
moving a patient from a wheelchair to a bed.)Functional physical
demands include manual dexterity, fine motor skills and reaching.
