Description: Martin/Martin, Inc. is looking for a senior-level
engineer to join our Civil Engineering Group in our Lakewood,
Colorado office. This senior-level engineer will work for multiple
project managers on a broad range of project types. This position
will focus in the civil investigative market.A typical work week
can include conducting site visits, preparing field reports,
preparation and review of constructions plans, meeting with owners
and clients and supervising staff members. Projects are typically
in the Rocky Mountain Region but can sometimes take us nationally,
offering the opportunity to travel. This position allows for
interactions with owners, architects, and contractors along with
opportunities for marketing activities.We operate in a fast-paced
environment and strive to support a culture that is collaborative,
innovative, and creative. Each project presents unique challenges
and opportunities to learn and grow as an engineer. The successful
candidate will develop expertise in a broad range of structural
engineering.The office is located on the west side of Denver
allowing for quick access to both the city and the mountains. Our

ProjectsDuties and Responsibilities Include:The following duties
are illustrative only and are not intended to be
all-inclusive.Performs field investigations to document failed,
failing or damaged civil related facilities and features including,
but not limited to utilities, infrastructure, grading, drainage,
and pavementsInvestigates and evaluates the origin and cause of
failures, damages or defects related to civil components of
residential, commercial, and industrial sites and has the skillset
and knowledge to develop options for remediationPrepares letters,
drawings, exhibits, and reports summarizing findings and
recommendations for repair/remediation.Prepares opinions of
probable cost to estimate remediation and repair costs for
clientsActively pursues and develops new clients and projects with
an intent to increase market captureAssists in fee determination
and proposal preparationManage and mentor a team of civil engineers
and CAD techniciansUtilizes AutoCAD/Civil3D to design, detail, and
prepare construction plans Attend project meetings during design
and constructionProvide quality-control check of work
produceProvide project construction administration support
including shop drawing review, responses to Requests for
Information (RFIs), and field observationsMonitor project budgets
and reviews and/or approves invoicing to clients.Participate in
collection and account receivable effortsWorks overtime, when
necessaryRequirements: Required Qualifications:8+ years of
progressive civil engineering experienceBachelor's degree in Civil
Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculumRegistered PE license
in the State of Colorado or ability to obtain one within 3
monthsDesired Qualifications: Min 2 years' experience in
investigativeMin 4 years' experience with PE licenseKnowledge or
proficiency with Civil3D, StormCAD, FlowMasterKnowledge of site
entitlement processes of jurisdictions within the greater Denver
Metropolitan area Construction field experienceShows strong
interest in participating in company initiativesExcellent time
management and organizational and management skills with technical
staff on multiple, simultaneous projectsApplicants must be
